Abarth

Abarth & C. is in 1949 opgericht door Carlo Abarth en een compagnon. Abarth is vooral bekend geworden door de uitlaten en het opvoeren van de Fiat 500, 600 en 850 Coupé. Door het verhogen van de cilinderinhoud kregen die auto’s andere type aanduidingen, zoals de Abarth 850 TC en 1000 TC. Minder bekend zijn de auto’s die Abarth zelf produceerde. Tegenwoordig is Abarth synoniem voor snelle Fiats. Zoals de 500 en 124 Spider.
